A largely Francophone province, Quebec is where cultures clash: metropolitan and rural, English and French, traditional and contemporary. Its largest city, Montreal, is a hub for arts and entertainment, while the capital of Quebec City is rich with history and heritage. From the towns scattered along the St. Lawrence floodplain to the empty Canadian Shield of the north, the province is a beautiful blend of natural landscapes, urban centers and French Canadian culture.
