Oregon’s quiet capital, Salem is nestled amongst the vineyards and rolling hills of the Willamette Valley – not too far from the coast, and not too far from the rocky Cascades. In addition to the striking cherry blossoms which flank the Oregon State Capitol each spring, the city is known for May blooms at Schreiner’s Iris Gardens.
